Sony is projecting 16 million PS4s shipped for the year March 2015-March 2016. This is probably a conservative estimate and Sony is probably quietly hoping to ship 17 million+. With that in mind I think Sony will be pleased with a 16 million 2015 calendar year. I think a price cut of at least $50 is needed to get there despite PS4 being almost 10% ahead of 2014 as of the end of March. I think PS4 will trend down YoY through the summer.
