I enjoyed all of them but I first played them when they first came out. I played through MGS1 a couple of years ago and completed it without having any trouble. Out of all the MGS games I would say MGS1 or MGS3 is my favorite, so maybe you should start with one of those. I would recommend starting with MGS1 since it has the worst graphics/controls and if you can trick yourself into believing you're still in the 90s then you may be able to find a way to enjoy the PS2 MGS games.
