I find Jim Sterling's videos entertaining, but all of his videos have the same solution: don't buy the game.

I continue to not understand why people apparently upset about season passes still buy games from that publisher.  Mario Kart 8 looks like a fun game but it has a season pass so I have committed to not buying it.

This post of yours is right up there with the one where you listened to Mario Kart 7's Rainbow Road music and decided against buying the game.

On topic: I don't get how people can say that Arkham Origins sucks when the gameplay of the other Batman games (the ones that are deemed good) looks pretty much the same.

The lack of originality (pun intended) was a small part of the problem. Also, Arkham City was a tough act to follow so expectations were too great. Add in the  fact that the game shipped as a bug riddled mess and the publisher / developer decided to work on DLC before addressing several of the more notorious game breaking bugs and you had the perfect storm for fan backlash. Being shorter than its predecessor and lighter on content didn't do much to help the situation either.

@OP

It's about damn time somebody starts to fault Warner Bros. for their approach to game development. I loved Arkham City which was a clear GOTY contender but I'm hesitant to purchase Arkham Knight because of WB's continued involvement in the series.
