It will wear down in the same fashion that any console wears down at the end of its life cycle but that's about a new console or a competitor gaining the market, not the novelty of motion controlling itself wearing down which is why I replied to you to begin with.

Actually it is the Wiimote, it's what's carrying the Wii right now and it is what is holding it up there, and if the world all of a sudden lost interest in gaming with a motion sensing controller then I highly doubt that Wii would still be on top of the chartz, is that not what a novelty is. I mean I know I'm just assuming here that Nintendo's sales would plummet if the world lost interest in motion controls, but that's what I believe and I don't know why anyone would believe other wise considering the decline Nintendo was facing with their console sales since the NES. I just think that Nintendo won't be able to sell the Wii-mote for their next console like they are now with everyone ranting and raving about it, it won't be 'new'.

When you can explain why this would happen, we'll continue.   I've already stated that the Wii is getting a steady stream of software that is only gettign better and better and it's selling faster and faster so why in the world would the mindset of millions of people suddenly change without a major outside influence (a la new console)?

Ummm, lol I never ever even said that that would happen, I used that as an example of how the Wii rely's on the Wii-mote. The world won't just all of a sudden lose....nevermind....
