Being unrealistic is not something reserved for videogames. You mention cartoons which is one example. You also mention movies like Guardians of the Galaxy in your OP, and that unrealism is part of the source material. Pushing physics and chance timing too far has been a hallmark of comics for many years, so it's not surprising a comic book movie would have that.
On the flip side, there have always been unrealistic elements in movies. Raiders of the Lost Ark has plenty of sequences with timing that seems too perfect, Star Wars has its own physics that are not very realistic, and so on. This is also a "flaw" present in many other mediums. Comics, cartoons, literature, and so on.
If you want to complain about movies becoming less realistic, you may have a point, but there is no correlation I could see with videogames. It would be more likely that advancing technology allows movies to further diverge from reality.
