Yep, they were quite disappointing. I'm playing the great ihyll one right now to platinum it, but once I'm done with this last one I'll never come back! To add to the points you've already listed, I find quite uninspiring that they are so similar to each other... like, just slightly different assets, some reutilized. It's a really poor segment of the game.
