Yeah, I'll take Rare devs over Wayforward and Inti Creates.

Your bias is showing. Rare was unmatched in their prime, but game development is a lot different now than it was 20 years ago, and these guys are out of practice. None of them have released a game since 2010. They haven't made a 3D platformer since like 2001 or something, right?

Inti Creates makes Mega Man, it's what they do, and they never stopped doing it. In the time since Banjo-Tooie and Bad Fur Day were released, IC has developed eight Mega Man 2D platformers. So they came along in 2013 essentially proposing that they make another Mega Man game, a genre they had most recently dabbled in just a few years before. These Rare guys haven't touched a 3D platformer in almost 15 years.

I'm not saying these guys aren't experienced, just standing by my statement that you are exaggerating their expertise. I understand your hype for the return of classic Rare, but a game can be delayed even by experienced teams -- or do you also think that CD Projekt Red, Nintendo EAD 3, and Naughty Dog are total noobs compared to ye olde Rare?

Yes, $4.000.000 and the game still looks like shit (graphically). Meanwhile, Playtonic made a better looking 3D (pre-Alpha?) game in just 3 months. I never said Wayforward wasn't very experienced btw, I'd just back ex-Rare developers (the good ones) over them any day.

Can't compare Zelda, TW3 and UC4 to an N64-style platformer either.

Inafune, I don't like or trust him. He's overpromising and is already talking about live action movie, anime and manga.
