If you like RPG's in the slightest... go play it now. In my opinion, it is the only game comparable to FFVI.
OT: Rather than going for what the concensus will be on what is best, I'll list my most anticipated/released
PS3 - MGS4 - potenially WKS or Disgaea 3 for me
360 - Lost Oddysey - maybe Infinite Undiscovery?
Wii - Not too sure as of now, waiting for a RPG to interest me, but I'll go with MK Wii
PSP - Crysis Core
DS - FFIV remake - maybe DQIX, although I bought my DS in anticipation of these two games, I'm still not over DQ not being on a console... I hope my worries wll be put to rest.
PC - Depending on when Starcraft 2 comes out, my 2008 gaming list may shorten greatly.
