I don't think IDGA, IGF, or UBM are hate groups, I simply think their ideology is inconsistent with free speech and freedom of thought. I also think they've wrapped themselves in this nice echo chamber, and refuse to even discuss the topics of great import, with anyone who doesn't think exactly the same way they do (which is born out with the GG-autoblocker, that's even blocked the head of an IGDA wing, for disagreeing that all GGers be put in Nazi gas chambers). I think certain individuals associated with aGG, are certainly as vile as some of the fringe sides of GG (Arthur Chu, Shanley Kane, Randi Harper etc..) but I don't think it's fair to generalize the entirety of it, just like it's not fair to generalize the entirety of GG as a hate group. There are psychopaths on both sides (as you will find in any political or social movement), but those crazies do not represent the whole.
The real problem with this whole debacle is the lack of conversation happening between the two sides, and the GG Autoblocker is not helping.
