AR needs to be full FoV to work well, If you're only seeing part of an object when the object is still well withing your field of vision, and even still somewhat withing your focal area then it's use is limited. It will still be excellent for 3D modelling on a small scale, but until FoV gets considerably widened it won't be able to be used to look at holographic builds of large scale projects.
It's a good start.
