The reason there are competitors for VR is because everyone in the industry sees the writeing on the wall.
The time is now, the technology makes it possible to market a product that will take off big.
Its why there are so many developeing it now.
Its the same reason why there arnt alot of people doing AR atm (its too early for it).
I think (1st gen) Hololense will end up a flop.
