Unlike last generation, the PS4 was and I believe is clearly the best console on the market.
The WiiU was poorly marketed with the controller being underused and not as desirable as Nintendo wanted it to be.
The Xbox One came out of the gate with always online, no pre-owned games and a packed in Kinect that added $100 to the price tag.
The PS4 not only lacked many of the negative features of the Xbox One and a lower price tag it also had multiplatform games performing better on the PS4 as opposed to the Xbox One.
