Sega's first party IP between 1989 and 2002>Nintendo's first party IP between 1989 and 2002.

Yup, I said it.

There's nothing wrong with that statement. Sega was so far ahead of everybody it isn't funny. All the games they were greenlighting were colorful and quirky that became classics. They were Risk: the company. I saw a bit of that in Nintendo with the Gamecube, but then they went ultra conservative which now transformed into the Nintendo of 2015. Risk-averse: the company.

I honestly don't know 90% of the cast of Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed. So I'm not impressed by their IPs at all. If their IPs sold they wouldn't be dead now.

From the Sega published games I own, I don't like a single one.

The Conduit: awful

Bayonetta 2: I think this game is boring, but that's just my taste in gaming.

Rome Total War II: horribly glitchy, bugged and poorly optimized. And yes, I blame Sega for rushing this game.

I've played a demo of Sonic Boom, what an awful game as well
