Hmm, if you use Heavy Rain and Beyond:Two Souls, does that mean the Walking Dead is also a cinematic game...?

On the question itself, I`m not really sure how to answer. I don`t have much experience with them. The Last of Us is one of them, right...? I`d say a heavy cinematic focus is fine if the game itself is fine. The game has to be fun to play...

No, TLOU is not even close to that.

That's why I hate this "interactive movie" bs that's going on, because most of the time people don't even know what they are talking.

They see a game with good graphics and that equals it to cinematic game with no gameplay and like an interactive movie.

TLOU is a pretty game, yes it is, it has a great story and a very strong story telling as well, but it's also a very solid game with a great gameplay.

The same goes to people that see a game that lack graphical quality, as indie games, and that equals it to being not being an actual game as it doesn't count as a game...

Woah there, I did not imply at any point that TLoU was an heavily focused interactive movie and was therefore a bad game. I only thought I recalled some people referred to that as a sort of cinematic game. I only wanted to know whether that was an example, and what other examples there would be. As for my other comment, I only refer to games in general, and not in any games in particular.
