200cc isn't all that fast and it's also incredibly difficult to be able to quantify what games are actually faster than others because it's all contextual (camera distance etc makes a big difference, play racers in a first person "bumper cam view" and they'll instantly feel faster than behind the vehicle just from the perspective). But I've played plenty of WipeOut, F-Zero, Quantum Redshift etc.

Only played it once with 3 people and it was horrible yeah. I usually play with one other person.

I don't think Sonic's framerate is stable on consoles either.

It's not, I can't get over how different Sonic ASRT plays on my PC. However when I say about the multiplayer, I do have a group of 4+ friends around on game nights, so 2 player isn't really an option. We generally end up putting Mario Strikers on (normal Wii) and it gives us the best gaming sessions ever. I just wish they'd do a HD port of it.
