You list Xox games and leave out Chromehounds?

But, Dr Vita is right.  From Software is known for their Playstation roots.  Delivering the majority of the Armored Core franchise to the PSX and PS2 along with King's Field , Shadow Tower, Evergrace, a few robot games from Namco like Another Centuries Episode, etc.  There's very little before the 7th gen that wasn't Playstation exclusive, and that's 20 or 30 something games.

I listed the ones I remember out of my head, quite a few.

But we are on 8th gen now, who cares about prior 7th gen, that's like saying Square Enix is know for its Nintendo roots.

People who like their older games?  Armored Core 5, despite having better graphics and a robust online, trying to make the game the Chromehounds of Armored Core is the worst in the franchise outside of multiplayer which hardly anyone is on, and unlike older games in the series, arenas aren't designed for 1v1, so while you can manufacture some good 1v1 it's just not as enjoyable as past games.  For all the limitations they had the older games are better than AC5 by a landslide and a half.  AC4 is good, For Answer is better, and they're on par with the classics despite playing pretty different.  Hopefully From Software removes the stupid ideas the had in AC5 and realize they're not going to capture the CoD crowd.  Not saying don't push new ideas for the series.  AC4 was good, just don't try and push ideas that dumb down the game to try and get people to join, or shoehorn in large maps that require a large number of players when you don't have and will never have the fanbase for it.

King's Field, Eternal Ring, and Shadower Tower are more linear versions of the Elder Scrolls game.  Less aimlessly exploring, more progression.  You actually find useful upgrades rather than the 9000th silver sword that you ignore because you pick up two items and you're overweight.  Consumables are very useful with using alchemy on a specific group of items out of 100 to make something worth a damn.  I prefer these games over Elder Scrolls because you're  always finding something new while you explore and you explore to progress.  I'd love to see a new gen King's Field.  For those unaware, announce it from  the creator's of Dark Souls and Bloodborne.  With looking similar to an Elder Scrolls just less open and From Software becoming well known, a new King's Field has a chance to sell well.  Exlusive, multi console.  Who cares, I'd just like to see one.
