| KBG29 said: It is welcoming to see a positive outlook for Sony, but I have to agree with some of the other articles that mention how the board of excecutives and old boys are looking at Kaz. Sony has never been a company about making money and pleasing shareholds. Even at the hight of the company, it was more about how much they could put back into inovation, and improving technology, than how big of a profit they could make. Hopfully, if this turns out true, Kaz and his team can find a decent balance between bringing new exciting products and tech, and pulling in a small profit for future down turns. As others have said. Sony really needs to merge Xperia into the PlayStation brand, and use all of their mobile patents to create phone that is unique to Sony. A true PlayStation Phone (Xperia Play was not a PlayStation Phone) would be a decent seller for them from day one, and would create a much more passionate fanbase than Xperia and android can ever do. |
I dont understand why there arnt 2-in-1's.
A handheld consol + Smart Phone in 1 device.
(im not into phones really so dont sue me if im wrong and there are plenty of them around).
Nintendo IF you do a phone, make it a 2-in-1..... Same thing with Sony, why wouldnt you make it a 2 in 1?
Playstation phone that funktions both has a handheld consol but also a smart phone. Id buy one of those.
It would need to be only marginally thicker than a normal smart phone
(performance isnt a must all, just give it a game library and decent battery life for gameing).
It could have a slightly smaller screen than your avg smart phone (instead of competeing with all the others going bigger, do something differnt = win).
It needs to have a physical D pad and 6 buttons (like a snes controller), yet still be confortable to use as a normal phone.
it needs to be able to take tiny game cartridge.
