I don't think this is legit. The actual details may be true (Kojima is obviously out, Konami is probably merging teams and leaving the console market), but the report itself is most likely not. If they were just waiting out employees of Kojima's team like this, I'm sure a lawsuit would break out very quickly. Severance is a powerful motivator in an industry as volatile as gaming.
