After that, it's really difficult to put a game of that style against games like The Order, Driveclub or inFamous Second Son. The style is just not comparable.
But it beats just about any platformers out there. ,even the next Yoshi game, by quite a margin. The amount of stuff going on in the background and foreground is unmatched by any 2D platformers, and those excape sequences have no equals in any other 2D/2.5D game.
Will people call me biased to the Xbox platform for saying this? xD

Not sure if the best looking (we have to play it yet) but Yoshi is the cutest platformer this generation :P

Yeah, Yoshi's Woolly World and Kirby and the Rainbow curse are among the cutest games out there.
