My dead console history goes like this:
PS2 - It didn't die per se but it couldn't read disks anymore so yeah... (about 5 years old)
Wii - Died while I was playing Epic Mickey (I was very near the end of the game), the console wouldn't boot at all. Sent it to Nintendo who replaced it but I lost all my save files. (about 6 years old)
PS3 - While my husband was playing God of War 2 on the HD collection. The console wouldn't boot, only beep twice and instantly close. I had unscrew the whole thing to get the game disk inside. (about 6 years old)
