I'm all for games teaching me something if it's done in a mature manner. I've read stories by third graders that are more well-written, more engaging, and thought-provoking than MGS2.
Do we seriously have to go over this again? I thought we had this issue covered the first three times we argued it. Besides, you lost this argument the second you said that you don't read fiction novels. 1984, Brave New World, Lord of the Flies, those make you think. Shit, I wouldn't even put MGS2 on the same thought level as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. At least that was well-written.
