and it looks realy good, emotional but not cheap. better than most books from parents with children that have/had cancer.

I'm not saying the game is bad or cheap. I'm just saying it feels weird to me, this isn't just for games, this applies to any movies or books as well in my case. 

And there are some forms of cancer that don't get as much awareness as others.

you mean we need a cancer month and not just a breastcancer month? thats sexist!

and i understand your point, this game isnt for everyone and its okay to feel weird about this kind of media usage.
