Lol seriously what are you talking about? Of course the hardware sales are going to drop. Why wouldn't they drop after a major game releases? Just like the sales of software drop after its release, so does hardware.
Also this is about sales not what Destiny could be, you said market exclusivity and exclusive content do nothing, except they do, the PS4 almost sold twice as many than the XBO that month.
Watchdogs wasn't ignored by Xbox One owners, it just did better on PS4 because these types of games do well on PlayStation than Xbox. It did decent for a new IP. Also it was marketed by Sony a lot.
