No...I expect a fall 2008 release. I expect it to be amazing as I loved FEAR :)

At this point, we have no confirmation that Remedy is making Max Payne 3.  However, if they are, Project Origin (good as it may be) will not compete.

 


Why do you think this?

Max Payne 1 was trully a great game but part 2 was already starting to show weak sports.

Plus if we go by metacritic FEAR had 88 http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/fear?q=F.E.A.R.

While Max Payne 1 had 89  http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/maxpayne?q=max%20payne

and Max Payne 2 had 86 http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/maxpayne2?q=max%20payne

I don't see where the huge discrepancy in quality you see comes from. 

Monolith Team is one of the best FPS teams around and they were busy with condemned and condemned 2 so none of the FEAR crappy expansion packs were done by them.  Project Origin will be their first return to true FPS in 3 years and I expect it to be amazing.
