But the initial reason cited for physical was owning the game, which is not the case if it's a steam game. The ownership is identical to what you get just buying it through steam.


Blizzard did this as well with the Starcraft 2 Heart of the swarm expansion.People in poorer countries were really worked up on the Bnet forums saying they had to pay per GB on their internet plan or something.Really unfortunate for those folks.Then you've got pillars of eternity, small hotfix patches (With just one minor bug fix) are 500MB a piece, apparently due to the unity engine.
