They do that all the time. Sometimes a game is put into PS+ exactly on its launch, recently that was the case with Duke Nukem 3D and probably MonsterBag?

Nope, Duke Nukem 3D launched day 1 with IGC and MonsterBag launched day 1 with IGC. No, they wouldn't do this because it would piss off people but worse no one would buy these new games day 1 if they would come to PS+ a week or 2 later. It's definitely fake. Games will either launch day 1 on IGC or come months later.
