Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't a multiplayer game require multiple players?

Hey, I know plenty of people who game online who aren't dicks. XD Really, in most of the games I've played on Xbox Live, people don't even talk, and outright dicks/griefers/whatever are pretty rare.

Xbox Live has a report system where players can be reported for saying offensive and vulgar things online (in addition to being persistent quitters/cheaters). The most persistent issue I've run into on the service has been people quitting when a game starts because they didn't get the game mode they wanted (and I would, of course, report them). I've encountered maybe a handful of assholes, and I've reported them too. Most of the negative complaints against me seem to stem from a few accidental team killings and a few dropped connections being confused with quitting.

So not only is this system already in place on a major service anyway (one that has online-only games), but it's not exactly known for being abused. If anything, it's known for being ineffective.

Given that this is something for an individual game server than an entire service, I would imagine it might be more effective here. Guess we'll see.
