And Nintendo has probably made more money of the Wii than Sony with the PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 combined. What's your point?

Why would anyone buy an inferior version of CoD on the Wii if they could just buy it on the PS3, xbox360 or PC? And I said must-buy, that doesn't include CoD. Not a single company tried to make a 3D platformer to rival the Galaxy games. You know... The kind of games Nintendo fans like.

Have any proof? Not that it matters because we are talking about 3rd parties not Nintendo profits. But seems like all Nintendo fans to play by Nintendo rules and their fans demands, and if they don't do that they are guilty of not supporting.

a game that sells 30M+ is a must buy. I hate the game but won't deny it market.

not a singre company saw value in putting the same budget to please the smaller market they could achieve on Wii than on ps360, even more seeing how Nintendo fans skip third party games in general. The difference in numbers bettween 3 version is too big. And being Wii and WiiU só much less powerfull of course the Port will be a lot worst.

PS3 costed Sony Billions of dollars, basically negating the profits of the PS2. The PS4 isn't out long enough on the market to have made much profit. The Wii was infinitely more profitable than the PS1.

3D platformers would sell not only on Wii, but also PS3 and XBOX360 (see Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank). It would be cheaper to develop and take less time than super realistic games in big open worlds.

Thank God the 3D platforming genre seems to be making some sort of comeback with a new 3D Mario being in development, Trine 3, Project Ukulele, Ratchet & Clank reboot (let's hope it has a lot more platforming this time), Splatoon (the singleplayer is a combination of platforming and third person shooting) and rumours of Rare making a Banjo-Kazooie/Conker sequel.
