With two of the other big four(halo and fable) Xbox franchise's already having anniversary editions and a new gears in development, it would be perfect timing for a remaster or collection to capitalise/promote the series before the next instalment hits.
Also gears one had a pc version which in my understanding would make it much easier to port onto Xbox one.
