This thread became a "Sony can do no right" any other company would have done better. That certainly explain why all other big companies failed before.

And the "Nintendo can do no wrong" like if Sony wasn't around Nintendo would do things different and would be Friends with 3rd parties. Its been 20 years and they still haven't learned how to do it even with Sony and Ms showing it.

And the "Sega would thrive"... Stop blaming others for the failures. This is like saying if Bill Gates wasn't billionaire I could be. Sega was screwing up already during Genesis with the add-ons and Sony can't be responsible for the bad decisions they made. I love Sega and would love they staying around but they burned themselves.

Exactly. Microsoft learned from Sony's tactics with the PS2 and actually posed a threat to them with the 360 (at the risk of massive hardware failure). Nintendo will always be Nintendo and unless another Wii. They blame Sony for Segas death where any bit of material will tell you that it was Segas fault. Sega cannot even run itself as a third party.

And it's very good to know that if you choose ps or xbox you will have access to 90% of library on the gen for console. Just having to choose which 1st party and key exclusives you preffer. And if you want both the transition is easy, same basic control layout and mapping for the last 20 years while on Nintendo you have to relearn the controller to do the same thing just because they like to overcomplicate without reason.

I buy their console after gen for cheap because I just want the key titles and I would lose too much if I done the inverse and bought ps after. And on customer friendness, I can buy games from anywhere and with several use without worry, while Nintendo want to determine where I have to buy and the disc is fail prone since it's a normal dvd.
