I'm glad. This means that rather than cramming a few announcements into someone else's broadcast, they get to do their own thing. I seriously doubt either Microsoft or Sony would give up their precious conference time to talk about some of Squeenix's B-list stuff.
FF XV and KH3 are the obvious things we NEED news on, and will probably be at the end, but with a full conference we might actually actually see something about Dissidia 3. Heck, if we're lucky we'll get a new Star Ocean or Dragon Quest.
