Better question, have you even seen Yokai Watch?

Yokai Watch is pretty mediocre. Not sure why you'd use the even worse anime to defend it.

Just because a lot of children like it, does not make it a good game.

And you know that because?
A lot of kids like GTA and CoD, so I guess those games are crap as well now.

From what I've seen of the footage it's better than Pokémon. And that somehow got 88% on metacritic (no idea how though).
