Well amazon was said to be running out of base PS4 stock, and the rumours were going strong then that they were potentially clearing stock. Though its still a while till E3, so perhaps they will just replace it shortly with new internal update build.

Yeah, should note that's 100% theory on my part, based on zero actual data, rumor etc...
