I agree and I don't care about reviews, just wanted to give the game some exposure as I doubt there were many interested in making a review thread for this game.

I played the japanese demo and the gameplay is pretty solid, I'm not concerned about that part. My only doubt resides in whether the dialog/humour is going to hit notes with me or not. With Neptunia it does, as you'd expect because it's about games, consoles etc, but with this revolving around idols I don't know what to expect. Some people are already playing the english version on YT so I'll have to have a look that. Shame that they're playing it with english voices though

I understand.  I just wanted to point out that this is a perfect example of why a Metacritic average is often useless with Japanese games.

As for me, obviously I like a lot of Japanese media, but idol culture is something that holds no interest for me.  However, I have enjoyed games, anime, and even live action Japanese series that parody idol culture.  That's why I'm interested.
