Hmmm. I'm going to repeat what I said before: It's likely that FF will never go to the Wii, unless it bombs hard on the Wii. But I still think SE will develop a non-spin off (in other words, a new IP) RPG for the Wii, because there's going to be demand for it there. And if they don't, some other company (like I said on the last page) that might be on the brink of bankruptcy, will make one last RPG game for the Wii, and it will sell gangbusters, and then might become the new standard for RPGs. It would be poor business to allow a competitor to just walk into a market that will sooner or later demand a real RPG and just take it. DQS, a spin off (of a spin off I have heard), did 500k in Japan. There's demand there for a RPG. It would be silly to not "tap" that. Whether it's with a main FF game or a new IP is debatable. I would have to say new IP since Nintendo already relies too much on sequels.

I think it's safe to say they are probably one or more developers making wii rpg's right now as when the other 2 consoles are not clearing 10,000 units per week and the leader currently has 68.6% of japans console userbase, is still outselling it's rivals by a massive week to week margin, is relatively cheaper to develop for and has very little JRPG genre then it's gonna cross peoples minds at some point.
