There was a thread like this not so long ago, but I'll say here what I said there.

I've been continuesly playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 and SimCity 4 since their releases in 2002 and 2004 respectively, almost without pause. I've played them so much, that they've got to be totalling thousands, probably over ten-thousand hours now. Another contestent would be Anno 1602 which should also be easily a couple thousand. Too bad games like that don't track time.

Of those that do track time, I've clocked about 6-700 hours in Anno 1404 (one profile at over 100, one at over 500) and 200 in Empire Total War. The first Rome is probably more though, maybe Medieval as well, but I can't know sadly. Another game that should have a similar amount of playtime is Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. It keeps time and it's a 40-60 hour game, which I completed five times.

Come to think of it, why I consider myself a console/Nintendo gamer first and foremost is beyond me, as no console game will come close to those kind of numbers . Maybe Mario Kart 64, Pokemon Blue or Ocarina of Time (64, GC and 3D combined and only because I completed it six times total) stands a chance, or Guitar Hero if I'd combine the franchise. 3 and Metallica should be over a hundred hours, 4 maybe nearing that number, but I barely played 5 and 6 and don't own any of the others.
