Pretty sure he meant their games would be rejected by Nintendo fans rather than Nintendo themselves. I'm sure if 3rd party publishers wanted to make games for Nintendo consoles that Nintendo wouldn't just tell them to get lost and would instead be pleased to be getting extra games on their console.

Also, aren't you a PC fan? Why do you not want 3rd parties to have freedom? Doesn't PC give them pretty much unlimited freedom, so why should consoles be different?

Even with it being fans I'd still see that being fare, I saw with what happened with Rayman, WD and other titles, it's not like they got the ebst service made possible from 3rd parties, if they don't give you good quality and the time of day then I don't see why they should make much of a profit, 3rd parties are hardly saints that could do no wrong.

No I'm not a PC only fan, I'm a multiplatformer with a pref of having PC as my main platform, just like others on here have their Xbox,Playstation and nintendo as their mains. PC gives them unlimited freedom but that doesn't always guarantee they'll produce quality, in fact 3rd party titles mostly start with the lower hardware and then try scaling up to higher end hardware and those results aren't too great, it should be the other way around though but it;s never going to happen with the degree of freedom they possess, I don't want complete and utter freedom stripped from them though, I just want them to sort themselves out.

See the thing is with "unlimited" freedom is you can make a shoddy product and when it's clear that people on one platform don't like it or complain then you can simply ignore that platform and move onto the enxt, if the enxt platform doesn't give you lip and takes whatever you have then they win and those who take in anything bad/good then I guess they kinda win too (without realising good from bad quality), the problem with that is you ignore the first platform that liked your ideas and work but you executed them in bad fashion, because you didn't take in the issues of your work and ignored them the platform you abandoned or the one you pay the least attention to will simply move away from you and not buy into your work as much, it works both ways, I don't have to buy your game if it's really bad, I don't really lose out on anything by avoiding a abdly crafted game but you do and if you choose to ignore me then you've lost me completely to someone else and really you're not supposed to be supporting such a notion, you're supposed to be making great games that stand up well on their own and to as many as possible.

The problem is when some 3rd parties are popular enough they get the option to ignore the other platforms they released to and made poor attempts to sell quality goods, I find that an issue that hardly anyone on here taps on.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
