I found the combat and gameplay in Dark Souls 2 to be great. However, the lack of storyline did the game in for me. I prefer my gaming experience to have a tangible, easily accessible, storyline. Is Bloodborne more of the same with the loose story and roam around having a blast killing things? |
The story isn't handed to you in Bloodborne like it is in most games. Although the story in Bloodborne is laid out a bit more than the story of previous souls games imo. Gehrman and the Doll do a pretty good job of filling in quite a bit along the way.
