You pay a sub for 1-3-12 months and on the first weds of each month you get 2 games per playstation system added to your psn account (2 ps3, 2 vita and 2 ps4) they're often very new games and most of them are pretty high quality stuff, you keep access to the games while your sub is active but if you allow it to run out you can no longer play the games until you reactivate your sub, whenever you have it active you will regain the ability to play all the games from your previous sub times. psn+ is a pretty cool system because of the fact that it works slightly like game rental (even tho you never lose any game you get from it while your sub is ever active) it can be encouraging to finish games it offers you and of course it will always offer you games that you might not have considered playing but enjoy when they're dished up to you for "free" you get 6 games per month and 12 months costs around 50euros so 72 games over the 12 months or 69cent per game.
