I did some digging and Interworks doesn't even own the pcb design either, so the chances of them paying out to have a wired version made are virtually none.
Basically, the only way that controllers being used for this console (assuming it ever even makes it as far as being made) is bundled with the original interworks packaging, using wireless to connect.
But hey, what do I know all I do is make gaming peripherals for a living.
