Without Playstation, would the industry be in another crisis?

Anyways to answer your question, there would be no Legend of Dragoon because the developer is Sony Computer Entertainment

But it just talks about the lack of Playstation, maybe they would still decide to get into the video game industry, just on the software side instead of hardware.
