See this is my thought. But they could take it in stages, first the slim then maybe a laptop for on the road gaming. Then if possible also have a portable to replace the vita (or just continue to sell beside it).
They could also take ps4 and put out a emulator for the vita on later so everything could be on one unit. And make the ps4 sony's Roku/gaming box as well once the price falls to $100. I believe if they did it right you be looking at even a longer lifespan than normal and extremely succesful.
