Because horny retro gamers like me want something hard in their collection of new games.

So basically you want to buy a new piece of hardware so you can buy cartridges for some games that are often digital only on current gen consoles.

Not to mention I just cant see this getting any serious support. It all just seems rather pointless tbh.

They already have 1 launch game, 1 being ported and they've been in talk with several studios including AAA studios to use IP's. And yes, it's all about cartridges.
