Oh Ajax remember when they announce PS3 games chances are it's been in development for about a year to two years already,
it's probably been in the pipeplines for even longer as preperations and investments were made to place it
on that platform.
So it's unfair to say Game X is from 3rd party Y and exclusive on Platform B thus Platform A isn't a possibility in Y's
business objectives for subsequent titles derived from Game X.
Saying graphics is about as baseless as saying money, unless your SE's accountant you can only guess.
Let's look at it this way, "it would be nice to see Game X on [insert your favorite console here]".
Then ego defender who has fried their heart into their system of choices mother board says, "well, yea that would be nice".
PS3 - JRPGs on the PS3 as for domination is not going to happen until games cost less than the market can produce.
Xbox360- Lol? Micro's got a lot of paddling to do up this waterfall.
Wii - Who knows, who cares, but they got it the easiest at the moment. While some otakus are buying their core games, their moms, other otakus and sisters are buying wii's. Who has the time in japan for a long jrpg? Otakus. But since the markets choosing other routes RPGs might not get noticed quite as much without some kind of gradual acceptance route.
But on all these systems, you guys seemed to forget the one case which should be in point - RPGs or JRPG it still has to be fun, and marketed properly.
I would bet that IF FF:CC be marketed as hard as Wiisports or harder than FFXIII that it will sell more than FFXIII.
FF isn't about a visual standard or art anymore, it's not even about story all the above fall second to "...looks cool..." mentality.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
