Of course there will still be dedicated systems, AAA games by then might even go down in price if their budgets are properly sorted out, heck you'd be surprised that with the digital era of gaming you can find some AAA titles cheaper on places like Steam, MKX comes to mind costing £44.99 for the regular version on both PS4/Xb1 whilst digitally on Steam it costs £34.99, the physical PC copy costs £29.99, either way I'd be saving money after I upgrade my system. I'll be honest I've loved WoW for years but I've been on and off with it and currently I've not played it since WoD launched as I played it with friends for almost 2 months and then we got burnt out on it like we tend to for every expansion but that's just us, apart from that I hardly touch any other MMO since most try to act/become like WoW and lose what they are sometimes and I can see why you aren't interested and I can agree with that to an extent. But trust me as others can tell you here besides me, you don't need to constantly upgrade your PC in order to play your games, once you upgrade you shouldn't need to for at least 5 years which is a pretty long time in gaming years and even by then you can tone down any settings you wish to meet your demands. |
Keep those MMOs away. I dont like it. Not interested upgrading systems (which I used to do heavily in past).
