I don't know about you guys but I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign mod in SWBF2. The story was amazing comprising of the 501st and I enjoyed taking part in the jedi purge :P
Even though they used the same maps at least there was story and emotion from the characters and you knew you had a purpose. People may not agree but I am a severe star wars fan ahah.
I honestly find no space battles the more stupid choice or deal breaker. That mode held together SWBF2 after land battles got stale IMO, and changed the nature of the game.
If there is no galactic conquest I am definitely not buying this game. They basically took the parts that I for one enjoyed from the previous game and canned them
