I want them to incorporate the Uncharted 3 backstory canon into any movie franchise plans. I think it's great that Nate isn't actually descended from Francis Drake and it was all a boyhood fantasy.
Other than that it sounds like the studio has been putting a lot of thought into how they want to movie to look and feel, which is good.
Not sold on Mark Wahlberg as Nate, even though I do like him in a lot of movies he's done.
Not sure I go with the idea of the movie being more Bourne than Indiana Jones. Uncharted should be the modern Indiana Jones, but with a bit of Bourne thwon into the mix. Nate should not come off as an expert in military hand to hand combat and an espionage genius. He's not a university archeologist either. He's a treasure hunter with a rogueish past So his fighting style is street brawler, and his smarts are from the streets. But if they just mean Bourne as in gritty, bloody and brutal in the fighting, then sure I can go with that.
