| Ajax said: when Square decided to make FF7 for the PSX they took a gamble ´cause Nintendo was the established leader of the industry, but still they choose for technology and the PlayStation, and switched production to the PSX while the SNES was the clear king of the industry and many had their money on the next Nintendo console or if not, on SEGA's console ..... but still they made it for the unproven PlayStation, because of it's hardware.. |
That doesn't make sense, Sega Saturn was much more powerful than PSX. The reason Square released FF7 on PSX was because of pressure from Sony, which owned around 20% of Square at that time.
