I'm a MTL fan, and I still think he deserved that penalty. Then he goes and slashes Stone's hand. While Stone acted it up, it was still a stupid and punishable move by Subban. He should behave better than that. But the misconduct penalty was way too harsh as well, and it's understandable that he was so pissed at it afterward. But now, Stone has shown who he's gonna be in the playoff and the ref will most likely keep their eyes on him. |
The refs usually put their whistles away during the playoffs. But because of that yes, there's going to be controversy when it comes to penalties.
