My personal grievances with dubs aside...I think the reason they omit this is largely due to licensing. A lot of the official dubs for these series are done by different companies, like Viz with Naruto and Bleach, and Funimation with One Piece and DBZ. I guess maybe they could redub all the characters for the game...but I'd imagine there's other issues with taking over localization like that. It might be easier to get around Funimation or whoever's contracts if the game is brought over as a straight import.
Though I could be wrong about how this is all done...and they're only trying to save money.
OT: I'm looking forward to this...a lot of these franchises I actually recently started getting into. Looking forward to killing Nardo with Akainu, Gon, and Joseph Joestar *eyes flame*
